Vento Di Vino

Seven 3.4 MW REpower 3.4M104 wind turbines, with a total installed power of 23.8 MW.

In operation since 2011, Vento Di Vino is situated 10 km from the Mediterranean coast.

The area of the site, crossed by winds of medium to high intensity, hosts olive groves and vast wine-growing areas extending across natural landscapes of extraordinary beauty and historical importance. Indeed, Phoenicians, Greeks, Arabs and Normans have left numerous visible traces in the landscape.

The wind farm project was designed and constructed with the aim of achieving optimal integration of the facilities with the environment, landscape and territory.

Among the achievements of Vento di Vino are the installation of the largest and most powerful turbines in Italy at the time of commissioning.

The construction involved many local operators, who collaborated both in materials supplies and in transportation of the turbines.
